Analysis and assessment is the first step in our work. In this step, we identify the current state with various assessment tools (organzational culture, effectiveness, leadership/management impact on employees, predominant behavioral styles, skills level, etc.) and often the desired (ideal) state that becomes the change target. Analysis and assessment are done with various validated assessment tools, always seeking information from several sources. Every assessment from one source is likely to subject to biases.
Based on the assessment results, action or development plans are created targeting areas for improvement. After identifying areas for improvement, the next step is creating a plan how to implement that development, on which level (individual, team or organizational), which methods are most adequate etc.
After implementing plans, the next step is evaluation. Evaluation validates to what extend has the desired change been achieved. Assessment tools are again used in this phase for re-measuring.
